Water Supply

The Shillong Municipal Board (SMB) is supplying nearly 5.6 MGD of water everyday. The places, which are the major sources of water, are Wahrisa, Wahjalynnch and Umjasai. Shillong Municipal Board has provided about 8000-8300 water connection around the Shillong Municipal Area.
